Destiny Garden School Volunteers

Destiny Garden School relies on donations to help provide the children with equipment, build more classrooms and to provide funding for projects for the school. We acknowledge that you may not be able to volunteer in Kenya or commit to monthly donations but one off-donations would be of huge help to the school and greatly appreciated.

Destiny Children is a UK charity supporting the school.  If you are in the UK, please contact Judy Roper, the UK Sponsor Coordinator  at destinychildren@live.co.uk .

Outside a classroom

‘Alternative’ Gifts: 

If you live in the UK, why not consider giving a present to a friend or one of your family in the form of a gift to Destiny Garden School. At present this scheme is set up in the UK but is shortly to be expanded to other countries. 

Gifts can range from £5 which will provide a child with drinking water during the school year, to £60 which pays for a teacher’s salary for one month, to £120 which will pay for the education of a child for a year.

Fundraising ideas:

• Get rid of your old clutter and have a car boot sale

• Bake some cakes and sell them at school or work,

• Have a sponsored event such as a walk, run, bike ride, swim etc.

• Ask for donations for Destiny Garden School instead of birthday, anniversary, Christmas or wedding presents.

• Have your friends round for a meal instead of going to a restaurant and ask for donations for the food.
